Obituary for Lois D. Fredrick
Lois D. Fredrick, 84, of Vincennes, IN passed away Thursday April 20, 2017 at the Willow Manor Nursing Center with her family at her bedside. She was born November 5, 1932 in DuQuoin, IL the daughter of Ralph I and Elizabeth Roorbach Kester. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and she retired from the Vincennes Community School Corp having served as a cook at the Vigo Elementary School. She married John L. “Jack” Fredrick on July 2, 1966 and they made their life together for 41 years until his death on August 17, 2007.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Fredrick, and his wife Jennifer of Vincennes, IN and Joseph Fredrick, and his fiancé, Jennifer Feutz of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by her grandchildren Vanessa Fredrick and her fiancé Joe Luchtefeld, Ashlee Fredrick and her fiancé, David Roach, Daveyka Fredrick, Dallas Fredrick, Tabitha Fredrick, Abigail Fredrick and Miley Fredrick. Her great grandchildren, Megga, Maecie, Broady and Rhett. She is also survived by her brother Ralph G. Kester, and his wife Helen of Armageddon, New Mexico, a sister Margaret Lucas of Louisville, KY and a sister in law, Norma Lee Richardville of Vincennes, IN.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday April 25, 2017 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Ewert officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Trinity Cemetery next to her husband. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday April 25 2017 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Free Methodist Church.
