Obituary for Ralph L. LeCocq
Ralph L. LeCocq, 98, formerly of Bruceville, IN. passed away Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 2:27AM at is residence with his family at his bedside. He was born April 19, 1914 in Bicknell, IN the son of Desire & Barbara Saladin LeCocq. He was a graduate of Bicknell High School and he married Jo Clark on January 13, 1946, and they made their life together for 64 years until her death on Dec 6, 2010. He was retired from Sears & Co as a sales representative in the Lakeland & Tampa Florida area and formerly owned and operated several grocery stores. He was a member of the Christian Faith and lived his faith in his everyday life. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was proud of his service.
He is survived by his son, Carl Steven LeCocq, his wife Mary of Vincennes, a grandson, Steven R. LeCocq, and his wife Christina of New Ulm, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo LeCocq, a brother, Joseph LeCocq and two sisters, Marjorie Morwood and Marie LeCocq.
Private services will be conducted as were his request. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Jo in the Mariah Creek Cemetery.
