Obituary for Alice F. Harper Alice F. Harper, 86, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday morning November 3, 2015 at the Lodge of the Wabash. Alice was born September 28, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Frank and Flora Hess Cordeau. She graduated high school and was married to Merle Harper and they made their life together until his death on August 22, 2004. She had formerly worked at Universal Scientific and was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Brenda Warner, and her husband Warren of Vincennes, Jeff Harper, and his companion Sherry of Vincennes and Rick Harper of Vincennes. Her grandchildren, Kevin Woodward, Rickie Harper, Angel Harper, Daniel Murrell, Josh Murrell, Heather Murrell, Erica Mosley and Tiffany Harper. Her great grandchildren, Jonathon Harper, Mia Mosley, Leland Harper and Tristan Woodward. A sister, Helen Brittingham of Ormand Beach, FL also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Harper, a son Michael Harper, a daughter in infancy, Alice Ruth Harper, a grandson, Shane Harper, her parents, a brother, Joe Cordeau, her sisters, Roberta Williams, Marie McRae, Jeanne Dunt and Shirley Biehl. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday November 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. John Catholic Church.
