Obituary for Anna Mitzi Perkins
Obituary for Anna M. �Mitzi� Perkins Anna M. �Mitzi� Perkins, 69, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 at her residence with her family at her side. She was born November 10, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of Clayton & Callista Kotter Miller. She was an active advocate for cancer awareness and she served with the Wabash Valley Community Corrections Dept. She was raised attending St. John Catholic Church, she was a member of VFW auxiliary, and she was an active participant with the Knox County Relay for Life and a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Center. She married Charles �Chuck� Perkins on May 5, 1973 and they made their life together for over 40 years. She is survived by her husband, Charles �Chuck� Perkins, daughter, Angie Hamilton, and her husband Gene of Vincennes, son�s, Richard K. Burke, and his companion Theresa of Vincennes, IN and John A. Perkins, and his wife Katie of Newburgh, IN. Her grandchildren, Karen Burke-Bible, and her husband Bryan, Kelly Roth, and her husband Daniel, Garth Perkins and Madelyn Cox. Her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Booth, Brandon Triplett, Cameron Roth, Parker Hyatt and Emily Bible. Her brothers, Reese Miller, and his wife Barbara of Zion, IL, John Miller, and his wife Carole of St. Louis, MO and a sister, Shirley Darnauer of Virginia Beach, VA. Also, survive her. Her parents and a sister, Julie Chambers Clingerman, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday September 9, 2013 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. David Martin officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday September 8, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Center or to the GSH Hospice.
