Obituary for Anthony J. �Tony� Yochum Anthony J. �Tony� Yochum, 69, of Vincennes passed away Wednesday evening at 7:26 PM at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born November 16, 1945 in Vincennes the son of Joseph B. and Anna Marie Clauss Yochum. He was a graduate of Central Catholic and served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War having attained the rank of Sgt. He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion and the 40 et 8. He retired from IPL Generating Station in Petersburg and was a welder and farmer. He enjoy being around family, friends and always enjoyed just talking. He is survive by his children, Stephen Yochum, and his wife Cheryl of Bruceville, IN and Beverly Watkins, and her husband Jeremy of Vincennes. His grandchildren, Resha Yochum, Tanya Yochum, Peyton Yochum, Riley Yochum, his step grandchildren, Andrea Goodman and Nathan Frey. He is also survived by his step great grandchildren, Bennett Frey, Shelby Goodman and Sawyer Goodman. He will be missed by his dear friend, Sheila Hess of Vincennes, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday April 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday April 19, 2015 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM.
