Obituary for Beverly R. Bilskie
Beverly R. Bilskie, 78, of Vincennes, passed away Friday January 26, 2018 at the Lodge of the Wabash. Beverly was born October 16, 1939 in Vincennes the daughter of Murrel and Thelma Like Sheren. She attended Decker School. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She married Damon G. Bilskie on November 2, 1958 and they made their life together until his death on November 22, 2015. She formerly was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Wilson, and her husband Paul “Bub” of Vincennes, Damon M. Bilskie, Vincennes, Becky Carrie, and her husband Mark of Washington, IN, Sue Lucas, and her husband Jimmy of Vincennes and Pam Skinner, and her husband D.J. of Bicknell, IN and a son in law, Pat Camfield of Harrodsburg, KY. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Don Sheren, and his wife Pat of Vincennes, Jim Sheren, and his wife Linda of Fruitland, MO, Dave Sheren, and his wife Lillian of Vincennes, IN and a sister, Armenta Wilson of Winston Salem, NC.
She was preceded in death by husband, Damon G. Bilskie, her parents, a daughter, April Camfield and 2 brothers, Tom Sheren and Bob Sheren.
Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Jeanette Jenne officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Damon G. Bilskie in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday January 30, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children’s Hospital in her memory.
