Obituary for Brandon Tyler Leal
Brandon Tyler Leal, 35, of Vincennes, passed away at his home Saturday evening November 9, 2019. Brandon was born February 24, 1984 in Phoenix, AZ the son of Bernie Jr. and Patricia Stephens Leal. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, received an AS degree from Vincennes University in Laser Optics and he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance from Purdue University. He attended St. John Lutheran Church, he was an avid coin collector, he restored and rebuilt bicycle’s and donated them to persons that was in need of transportation. He enjoyed building guitars from scratch and being with his family and friends.
Brandon is survived by his daughter, Alexzandra “Lexy” Leal of Vincennes, his parents, Bernie Jr and Patricia Leal of Vincennes, his sister, Gina Martin, and her husband Jason of Columbus, IN, his brothers Brent Leal, and his wife Amber of Vincennes, IN, Patrick Leal of Columbus, IN and his paternal grandmother, Eddie Leal of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Susie Stephens, his paternal grandfather, Bernie Leal Sr. and his paternal uncle, Michael Leal.
Services for Brandon will be private. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Helping his Hands, 2011 Willow St. Suite B, Vincennes, IN 47591. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Brandon’s family during their time of loss.
