Obituary for Brenda L. Williams Brenda L. Williams, 66, of Vincennes passed away Monday, October 19, 2015, at her residence with her family at her bedside. Brenda, the daughter of Edna Wininger Luking, was born May 28, 1949, in Vincennes. She was a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School and she was the accounting clerk at the Vincennes Sun Commercial for 28 years. She married Dennis Williams on March 6, 1971, and they made their life together for 44 years. She was a member of St Thomas Catholic Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grammy. She enjoyed her flower garden, riding her bicycle and exercising at the YMCA. Brenda was an avid and devoted Tennessee Lady Vols Fan. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Williams of Vincennes, their children, Kara Williams Jones and her husband, Jason, of Terre Haute, IN; Jon Williams, and his wife, Summer, of Oaktown, IN; and Abby Williams of Terre Haute, IN. She was blessed with her grandchildren: Hannah Jones, Hallie Jones, Ava Williams, Hadley Williams, Mila Williams and Capree Williams. She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Wininger Luking. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her mother in the Fairview Cemetery, Vincennes. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 22, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice.
