Obituary for Catherine �Bonhomme� Kotter Catherine �Bonhomme� Kotter, 89, of Vincennes, passed away Saturday November 9, 2013 at 12:50 PM at the Colonial Assisted Living. She was born January 3, 1924 in Vincennes, the daughter of Frank & Julia Wetzel Bonhomme. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, she married Cyril �Butch� Kotter, and they made their life together for 63 years until his death on November 28, 2007. Catherine retired from Tresslar�s and she was a member of St. John Catholic Church, St. Anne�s Altar Society and the Pink Ladies at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and she liked to take the bath at French Lick. She is survived by her children, William Kotter, and his wife Judith of Vincennes, Rita Reinhart, and her husband Charles of Vincennes, Mary Ellen Beard, and her husband Darrell of Evansville, IN, Jeanne Goettl, and her husband Kent of Kettering, Ohio, Cathy Wilson, and her husband Danny Wilson of Vincennes, and Susan Cook, and her husband David of Bruceville, IN. Her grandchildren, Jeff Kotter, Bart Kotter, Brian Kotter, Chris Beard, Sarah Pleuss, Adam Reinhart, Nick Goettl, Lisa Goettl, Kara Goettl, Michael Wilson, Cody Wilson, Chelsea Wilson, Alison Cook, Emily Cook, Brad Cook, Katie Cook, Bart Osburn and Nathan Osburn. Her great grandchildren, Alex Kotter, Ava Kotter, Colten Kotter, Caden Kotter, Emma Kotter, Andrew Kotter, Mykala Kotter, Christian Pleuss, Charlie Pleuss, Cohen Pleuss, Jacob Goettl, Austin Osburn, Bower Osburn, Ryder Osburn, Anderson Osburn, Kai Osburn and Stella Osburn. Her Great-Great Grandchild, Brilee Osburn. Her sister, Roberta Dunn of Vincennes also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril �Butch� Kotter, a daughter, Cheryl Kotter, her parents, 3 brothers, Raymond, Leon and William Bonhomme. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home . Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Hospice.
