Obituary for Charles L. Pifer
Charles L. Pifer, 75, of Vincennes, passed away October 7, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Charlie was born December 19, 1944 in Vincennes the son of Marvel and Doris Randall Pifer. He worked in construction and painting services. He was married to Rosalie Nash Self and they made their life together for nearly 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Pifer, his step children, Denise Brames of Vincennes, Timothy Nash of Cullman, AL and Darvin Nash of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by his brothers, Bobby Pifer, and his wife Alice of Vincennes, IN, David Pifer, and his wife Kathy of Vincennes, IN and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and four sisters.
A gravesite service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday October 26, 2020 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jim Evans officiating. Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests social distancing. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Knox County Humane Society. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Pifer Family during their time of loss.
