Obituary for Charlotte �Pug� Anderson Charlotte "Pug" Anderson, Vincennes, died on the evening of July 3, 2012, of a massive heart attack at her home. She was born in Vincennes on May 22, 1947 to Merlin and Betty Brown Anderson of Bicknell. She was a 1965 graduate of North Knox High School. Charlotte made friends easily as she lived in different communities in southern Indiana and most will remember her as being a fun-loving individual. She is survived by her daughter, Jessie Downey (Brian) of Terre Haute and her father Merlin Anderson of Bicknell. She is also survived by her sisters & brothers, Barbara Atkinson and her husband Howard of Terre Haute, IN, Donald Anderson and his wife Paula of Birdseye, IN, Mike Anderson and his wife Judy of Zionsville, IN, Denise Cofer and her husband Steve of Kalispell, Montana, and Marilyn Waggoner and her husband Bryce of Lebanon, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews and her close friends, including Alice Dick and Phyllis Workman also survive her. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel in Bicknell, IN. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-5:00 PM Saturday with a sharing of memories. Private burial service will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial donations can may be made to the Knox County Social Ministries in her memory.
