Obituary for David Monroe Boothe David Monroe Boothe, 71 of Vincennes, IN, abandoned this earth to join the comfort of our Lord at 7:11pm Monday April 23, 2012. He was born August 19, 1940 in Tazewell, VA the son of Charlie W. and Virginia Neal Goodwin Boothe. He served his country in the U.S. Army for six years during the Viet Nam War and returned to Washington, IN to marry his lifelong companion, Julia Ann Williams Roman. While sharing over 49 years together, they reared five children. He moved to Vincennes in 1964 and was employed with the Vincennes Water Dept for over 15 years. He semi retired and worked for the Clark Detective Agency for 8 years until 1992. He is survived by his wife, Julia Ann Boothe, children, Ann Maria Snyder, Vincennes, Rev. Edward G. Roman II, and his wife Diana of Carlisle, PA, Joseph M. Roman and his wife Lora of Vincennes, Ellen M. Abel, and her husband Jimmy of Vincennes and Donna Jean Tislow of Vincennes, IN. Grand Children: Charles Wagoner, Laura Bowen, Catherine Scott, Jennifer Roman, Nicholas Roman, Jacob Roman, James Abel, Christopher Tislow, Katilyn Roman, Great Grand Children: Rebecca Scott, Zane Chamness, Zachery Chamness, Andrew Bowen. His brothers and sisters, Dora Eloise O'Quinn, Charlie Whitt Boothe Jr, Cora Belle Harrington, Donald Carl Boothe, Rosa Lee Sheppard, Brenda Faye Boothe, Carolyn Sue Baldwin and Victor Thomas Whitt all from Virginia also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Dacia Lynn �Olivia� Roman and a grandson, Joshua Caleb Roman. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday April 26 at 7:00PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with his son, Rev. Edward G. Roman officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
