Obituary for Dolores E. Cullison Simmons Dolores E. Cullison Simmons, 80 of Vincennes passed away Monday March 4, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born Feb 9, 1933 in Russellville, IL the daughter of Bertren & Nellie Allen Cullison. She was married to Ralph Simmons on Dec 3, 1976 and they made their life together until his death on Jan 19, 2011. They enjoyed playing golf together and participated in various golf leagues. She was a graduate of Oaktown High School and worked for the U.S. Mine and Safety and Health Dept for over 20 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary Eagles Auxiliary and the Moose Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Brad Davis, Vincennes, IN, Darlisa Davis and her husband Ron Cordes of Indianapolis, IN, Diana Davis of Noblesville, IN, and Brian Davis and his wife Lucy of Dallas, TX. , stepson, Lonnie Simmons and his wife Carla of Lawrenceville, IL, her two stepdaughters, Judy Bonhomme and her husband Bill of Vincennes, IN, and Brenda Crockett and her husband Eric of Vincennes, IN. Her grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Heather Davis, Darren Davis, Bennett Jerrow, Nicole Cordes, Jennifer Karpe, Kristin Baker, Matthew Mains, Lacie Lair and Anthony Davis. Her Step grandchildren, Brittany Cordes, Ashley Cordes, Melissa Land, Chad Bonhomme M.D., Holly Morrison, Ryan Jackson, Mark Simmons, Carla Harness and Kim Maines. Her great grandchildren, Aidan Davis, Jaydaia Davis, Kennedy Karpe, Sloane Karpe, Aidan Baker, Jude Land and Zoey Lair, and her 14 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Brady Davis, her parents and a sister Eileen Peters Funeral services will be celebrated Friday March 8, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Rev. David Martin officiating. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Donor�s Charity of Choice or the Vincennes Pet Port.
