Donald F. Lamberg, 80, of Bruceville, IN, passed away at his home Tuesday April 10, 2018 with his family at his bedside. Don was born November 19, 1937 in Evansville, IN. He was raised by his single mother, Catherine Hand Lamberg and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He entered the U. S. Air Force upon graduation and served his country from 1956 to 1960 being stationed in Japan. He was a member of the St. Frances Catholic Church and he retired as a warehouseman for Wabash Food Service and formerly warehouse manager and assistant manager for the Tresslar’s. Don married Betty Beamon on Sept 24, 1969 and they made their life together for nearly 49 years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lamberg, children, Melissa Larsen, and her husband Rich of Shelburn, IN, Catherine Dare, and her husband Dan of Wheatland, IN, Dawnetta Shatto, and her husband Gerry of Vincennes, IN, Sandi Harvey, and her husband Jesse of Vincennes, IN and David Lamberg of Vincennes, IN. Nine grandchildren, Brett Dare, Nathaniel Shanklin, Marissa Dare, Dakota Harvey, Annessa Mason, Ariel Harvey, Brandon Harvey, Jazzelle Harvey and Garrett Shatto. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, Kylar Dare and Emmett Helms.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Lamberg, a sister, Patricia Tester, 3 brothers, William Lamberg, Leroy Lamberg and a brother in infancy

Funeral services will be held privately. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the donor’s charity of choice.
