Obituary for Donna L. Stone Donna L. Stone, 66, of Vincennes passed away Thursday September 13, 2012 at St. Mary�s Hospital at 12:01 AM. She was born September 6, 1946 in Sullivan, IN the daughter of Rosa Simms & Frank West. She worked for over 35 years as a Bus Driver for the Vincennes Community School System. She was a Christian who lived her faith everyday. She would help anyone who needed help and loved the children who rode on her bus. She watched the children on her first bus runs grow and then took their children to school. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. On November 7, 1987 she married Thomas Stone one year to the day they first met. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas Stone of Vincennes, children, Dena Burnett of Evansville, IN, Gene Lucas, and his wife Michelle of Lancaster, PA and Shawn Lucas, and his wife Janie of Vincennes. Her grandchildren, Marvin, LaQuinta, Kyle, Dylon and Tyler, a great grandchild, a brother Lee P. West of Vincennes and a sister Phyllis A. Kopachy of Chagrin Falls, Ohio also survive her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa West, and her father. Gravesite services will be celebrated Monday September 17, 2012 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Roger Wright officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her mother. The family will receive friends Sunday September 16, 2012 from 4 to 7 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.
