Elizabeth A. (Trabant) Racey, 44, of Oaktown, IN, passed away Friday February 27, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville, IN. Elizabeth was born October 9, 1981 in Vincennes, IN the daughter of Don and Eileen Nowaskie Trabant. She was a graduate of North Knox High School, Vincennes Beauty College and attended USI in Evansville. She was the branch manager of Regions Bank in Vincennes and a member of St. Francis Xavier/Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed her career and being with her family and friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Jason Racey, children, Olivia Rose Trabant of Oaktown, Chyenne (Kenny Jones) Coleman of Farmersburg, IN, Dylen Coleman of Carlisle, IN and Shawnna (Ethan Webb) Coleman of Linton, IN. 3 Grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Eileen Trabant of Oaktown, IN, her brothers, Nicholas (Veronica) Trabant of Carlisle, IN and Daniel (Rachelle) of Oaktown, IN. She is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Clint Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 4, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home and on Thursday prior to leaving for the church at 9:45 AM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the family for Olivia’s college fund. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Elizabeth’s family during their time of loss.
