Obituary for Eva Avanell Loving
Eva Avanell Loving, 100, of Bicknell, IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday November 23, 2020 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL. Avanell was born June 25, 1920 in Bicknell, IN the daughter of Ray and Alta Shuey Faith. She married Everett Loving Jr. and they made their life together for 49 years and he preceded her in death in 2004. She formerly worked at the Osborne Dress Shop in Bicknell and she was a member of the Bicknell Nazarene Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother.
Avanell is survived by her daughters, Susan Kurtz, and her husband David of Flat Rock, IL and Christine Keasling, and her husband Tim of Carlisle, PA. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Kurtz, Christopher and his wife Mitzi Kurtz and Zach Keasling., she is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Jadyn Keasling and Harper Kurtz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Loving Jr. a great granddaughter, her parents, Ray and Alta Faith, a brother, Robert Faith and a sister, Ruth Hubbard.
Gravesite services will be conducted Friday November 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Edwardsport Town Cemetery with Pastor Jon McKinnon officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Edwardsport Town Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s charity of choice. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel is honored to assist the Loving family during their time of loss.
