Obituary for Gary Joe Bilskie Sr. Gary Joe Bilskie Sr., 67, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday February 20, 2014 at 9:43 PM at his residence with his family at his bedside. He was born August 31, 1946 in Plainville, IN the son of Louis & Mary Gardner Bilskie. He married Sandra Hunley on July 19, 1965 and they made their life together for over 48 years. Gary was a truck driver and after retirement he worked for Chris Vieck Farms. He formerly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and formerly was a member of the Moose. He and his wife, Sandy were active members of the Casino Aztar Club 55. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bilskie, their children, Angie Sutton and her husband Joe, Ron Bilskie, and his wife Tammy, Robin Risley, and her husband Tim, Laurie Hedge, and her husband Joe, Gary Bilskie Jr and Bob Bilskie, and his wife Wendy, all of Vincennes. 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers & sister, Damon Bilskie, and his wife Bev, Kenny Bilskie & Linda Sheren and her husband, Jim all of Vincennes also survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Max Bilskie. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday February 24, 2014 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home at 7:00PM with Rev. Terry Pickett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Good Samaritan Hospice.
