Obituary for Harold L. Pepmeier
Harold L. Pepmeier, 76, of Bicknell, passed away Thursday February 28, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Harold was born June 28, 1942 in Sullivan County the son of Julius and Frieda Harting Pepmeier. He worked for many years at Thompson Chevrolet in Bicknell and worked at various places doing janitorial work. He was a member of the Bicknell United Methodist Church, formerly a member of the Salvation Army and attended the Freelandville Christian Church. He enjoyed ringing the bells at Christmas time for the Salvation Army.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Anna Bell and Phyllis Pepmeier and a brother in infancy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel with Elder John Manning officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Bethel Cemetery with his parents and sisters. Friends may pay their respects from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Bicknell United Methodist Church or the Freelandville Christian Church.
