Obituary for Helen J. Lehmkuhl Helen J. Lehmkuhl, 78, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday evening at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 14, 1935 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Donald and Edna Bell Bolton. She married Eugene F. Lehmkuhl and they made their life together until his death in 1995. Early in her working years she worked as a nurse�s aid and worked as a teacher�s aid at Vigo School after her family moved to Vincennes. She was a member of St. Paul�s Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Winchester, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Julie Lancaster of Vincennes, IN, Alice Donnersberger, and her fianc�, Kevin Hartman of St. Anne, IL, Jeff Lehmkuhl, and his wife Lori of Winchester, IL. Her grandchildren, Joe Lancaster, Tom Lancaster, Kelsie Donnersberger, Cory Donnersberger, and his wife Alicia, Taylor Serrata, Kyle Hartman, and his wife Ashley, Kayla Hartman, and her fianc� Tyler Wheeler and Kohl Hartman. She was blessed with a great grandchild, Bailey Donnersberger. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold Bolton, and his wife Janice of Rochester, Minn, Donald Bolton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her sisters, Shirley McCord, and her husband George of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Barb Ungerer, and her husband Harold of Hawkeye, Iowa. She is also survived by her Great Aunt, Boneata Kautz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Lehmkuhl, a son, Gene Lehmkuhl, a son in law, Randy Lancaster and her parents. Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday August 2, 2014 at the St. Paul�s Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Nan Dehnke officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery beside her husband and son. The family will receive friends on Friday August 1, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service at St. Paul�s Lutheran Church on Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the St. Paul�s Lutheran Church.
