Jeffrey Dean Kirk, 65, of Oaktown, IN, passed away Sunday September 29, 2024 at Oak Village Nursing Center with his family at his bedside. Jeffrey was born June 8, 1959 in Vincennes, IN the son of Jerry and Nancy Cadwell Kirk. He was a graduate of North Knox High School and he graduated Lincoln Tech for diesel mechanic. He worked at Vincennes University in the maintenance department; He held membership in the Bicknell Methodist Church and was a former member of the Eagles and French Club.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Jerry Kirk of Oaktown, IN, a sister Janice Mundy (Jeff) of Oaktown, IN. He is also survived by his nephews, Kirk Mundy (Nikki), Kent Mundy (Kelly), his great nieces and nephews, Anthony, Connor, Raelynn, Ruby, Carson, Harvey, Conrad and Lillian.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy (Cadwell) Kirk.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel in Bicknell with Pastor Keagan Thomas officiating. He will be laid to rest in Freelandville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bicknell Methodist Church or the donors charity of choice in his memory. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel is honored to assist the Kirk family during their time of loss.
