Obituary for JoAnn Uilani "Pineapple" Boren
JoAnn Uilani "Pineapple" Boren, 60, of Bicknell, IN passed away December 8, 2020 at her residence. Pineapple was born September 9, 1960 in Oahu, HI the daughter of David and Phyllis Freitas Harvest. She graduated high school and lived her Christian faith daily. She was a bartender and cook.
She is survived by her son’s, Darrell Boren, and his wife Dawn of Washington, IN, Brandon Boren of Bicknell and Shawn Jordan, and his wife Jenny of Bicknell, IN. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melinda J. Boren, Ashlyn B. Boren, Emry P. Boren, Gavin J. Boren, Colin D. Boren, Hope Boren, Avery Boren, Ian Boren, Dakota Boren, Alan Jordan, David Sawyer, Candice Pratt and Miranda Harrell and 8 great grandchildren. Pineapple is also survived by her brothers and sisters, David Harvest, Jimi Harvest, Donna Harvest and Patrice Harvest Kahoonei and Kuulei Harvest.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a special friend, Brandon Smith.
Services will be held in Hawaii at a later date. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel is honored to assist the Boren family during their time of loss.
