Obituary for John �Jack� Steimel John �Jack� Steimel, 68, of Vincennes passed away Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 12:28 PM at the Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his bedside. He was born May 28, 1944 in Vincennes the son of Leo L. & Agnes Mouzin Steimel. He was a graduate of Bruceville High School and worked at Prestolite for many years. He was a member of the catholic faith attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Bicknell He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Cox, and her husband Fred of Oaktown, IN, Pam Alexander, and her husband David of Terre Haute, IN and Kim Johnson, and her husband Randy of Brodhead, WI. 9 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His brothers, Robert Steimel, and his wife Hazel of Bicknell, IN, Jim Steimel, and his wife Jan of Washington, IN, his sisters, Marietta Earley of Vincennes, IN and Patricia Clark of Bicknell, IN also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Bill Steimel, Sam Steimel, Charles Steimel and Richard Steimel, 3 sisters Margie Steimel, Norma Cary and Betty Stephens. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday February 22, 2013 at the Duesterberg Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. David Martin officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his brothers in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice or to the donor�s charity of choice.
