Obituary for June Marie Johnson June Marie Johnson, 95, of Vincennes, passed away August 29, 2013 at 12:01 PM at the Bridge Pointe Health Center. She was born January 5, 1918 in Vincennes the daughter of Hershel & Mary Frund Hamm. She was a member of the St. Vincent Catholic Church, and a hospice volunteer. She was a cook for many years at the Holiday Inn and various restaurants in Vincennes. She married James A. Nash and then married Ova O. Johnson who both preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Dale Nash of Vincennes, Rosalie Pifer of Vincennes, Melvin Nash of Carey, Ohio and Jimmy Jo Nash of Louisville, KY. 15 grandchildren and several Great and Great-Great grandchildren. A sister, Helen Longest of Evansville, IN also survives. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will celebrated Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the GSH Hospice at the funeral home.
