Obituary for Larry Lee Ligier
Obituary for Larry Lee Ligier Larry Lee Ligier, 77, of Princeton, IN, formerly of Vincennes passed away Sunday October 18, 2015 at the Gibson Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IN. He was born August 27, 1938 in Vincennes the son of Leo and Hazel Polston Ligier. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of 50's music, collecting all sorts of memorabilia from that era and riding on whatever motorcycle he had at the time or working on car projects. He was a paint and body shop owner, running his own business from home. He was a quarter midget racing enthusiast and shared his love of the sport with his children, participating in races weekly at Terre Haute or Casey, IL. He formerly held membership in the Hoosier Cruisers and various antique car clubs. He is survived by three children, Larry Ligier of Jacksonville, FL, Leslee Ligier and his wife, Rachelle of Edmonds, WA and Laura Nelson and her husband Howard in Azle. TX, and longtime companion Katie from Princeton, IN. He was blessed with four grandchildren; Brenden, Ryan, Levi, and Avonlea. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Hazel and Leo Ligier and a host of other relatives. Funeral Services will be celebrated Saturday October 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM EST at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. Ron Zgunda officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Fairview Cemetery, Vincennes, IN. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the donors charity of choice.
