Obituary for Leona M. Field Dreiman Yochum Kocher Leona M. Field Dreiman Yochum Kocher, 69, of Vincennes passed away Monday June 20, 2016 at 8:30 AM at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 19, 1946 in Knox County the daughter of Elvis L. and Virginia E. Cotton Field. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Vincennes Beauty College and worked as a hair stylist for 30 years. She also worked as a office-cashier at Harold�s Supermarket for 19 years, she was the first manager of the J.C. Penny Beauty Salon, and enjoyed the class reunions of Lincoln High School Class of 1964. She held memberships in St. John Catholic Church, the VFW AUX, American Legion AUX, Beta Sigma Phi sorority where she received the 25 year silver circle award. She had been team captain for the Harold�s Relay for Life Team. She enjoyed spending her summers as a child with her aunt and uncle Ralph & Mary Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Meier, and her husband Kent of Terre Haute, IN. Her grandchildren, Aaron Dreiman, and his wife Angie, Jeffery Dreiman, and his wife Lindsi, Jacob Dreiman, Victoria Meier, Benjamin Meier. Her great grandchildren, Abbie and Averie Dreiman, Faith, Rayne, Jo and Maggie Dreiman. Her brothers, Dale Field, and his wife Diane of Spring Hill, FL, Ralph Field, and his wife Judy of Vincennes, IN, Ed Richardson, and his wife Ruth Ann, whom she thought of as a brother growing up. She is also survived by several step sons and step daughters and several cousins she was close to. She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Dreiman, her parents, a brother Walter �Sonny� Field, a half brother, Russell in infancy and her second husband, James W. Yochum. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday June 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery near her son. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Relay for Life.
