Obituary for Leroy E. �Gene� Like Leroy E. �Gene� Like, 51, of Bicknell, passed away December 20, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born December 5, 1963 in Evansville, IN the son of Karen Carter Like and Kenneth Like. He was a graduate of North Knox High School and worked as a security guard at Duke Energy. He is survived by his children, Danielle Meehan of Indianapolis, In, Matthew Like of Bedford, IN, Amber Like of Paoli, IN, his mother, Karen Carter Like of Bicknell, Kenneth Like of Bicknell, his biological father, Leroy E. Brown of West Salem, IL, 3 grandchildren, a brother, Clayton Like of Bicknell, IN, 2 sisters, Jessica Brown of Marion, IL and Samantha Brown of Mattoon, IL. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 29, 2014 at 7 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating. Private burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday December 29, 2014 from 6 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with the expenses of his last illness.
