Obituary for Linda J. McConnell
Linda Jean McConnell, 73, of Bicknell, IN, passed away at her home. Linda was born September 17, 1948 in Louisville, KY the daughter of John C. and Ruby M. Wilkins Pounds. She was a graduate of North Knox High School in 1966 and was a homemaker. She held membership in the French Club Auxiliary and enjoyed her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her family, Kerri Wright and her husband Jeff of Bicknell, IN, Vickie Joyce, and her husband Paul of Avon, IN, Jon McConnell, and his wife Jessica of Bicknell, IN and Sherrie Miller, and her husband Roger of Bloomfield, IN. Her mother, Ruby M. Pounds of Bowling Green, KY, her grandchildren, Shena Benson, Christopher Benson, Derrick (Lacy) Allen, Kyle Allen, Jessica (Heath) Harrell, Danielle Joyce, Brittany (Andrew) McAnelly, Cheyenne Gossar, Star Wiscaver, Sky McConnell, Dakota McConnell and Nathan McConnell. 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her brothers, Jim Pounds, and his wife Genie of Odon, IN, Gary Pounds, and his wife Gail of Ft. Pierce, FL and a sister, Debbie Higgenbothem of Bowling Green, KY also survive.
Services will be private and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel is honored to assist Linda’s family during their time of loss.
