Obituary for Linus J. Dunt Linus J. Dunt, 83, of Bruceville, IN, passed away Feb 23, 2012 at 2:20 PM at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1928 in Cresco, Iowa the son of James and Margaret Huber Dunt. He served his country during the Korean War in the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He married Jeanne Cordeau on October 4, 1952 and they made their lives together for nearly 60 years. He was a supervisor at Hamilton Glass and a machinist. He held memberships in the American Legion and was an avid NASCAR fan, fisherman, gardening, camping and the challenge of fixing anything that presented a problem. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Dunt, their children, Gary Dunt, and his wife Anita of Vincennes and Kim Wolfe, and her husband Doug of Pinkstaff, IL. Grandchildren, Jamie Watkins and Courtney Watkins, great grandchildren, Sean, Xavier and Magdalene. His Brothers Adrian Dunt of Plymouth, Wisc and Cornell Dunt, and his wife Leta of Lost Nation, Iowa also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis Dunt and Conrad Dunt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday February 27, 20122 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday February 26, from 4 to 7 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.
