Obituary for Louis E. Rusch Jr. Louis E. Rusch Jr, 58, of Vincennes passed away August 19, 2013 at his residence with his family at bedside. He was born June 2, 1955 in Vincennes the son of Louis E. Sr. & Elizabeth �Betty� Keller Rusch. He was a graduate of South Knox High School and he received a bachelor degree in business from Indiana State University. He was a lifelong farmer and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was raised going to St. Thomas Catholic Church. He married Debra Joyce on July 23, 1988 and they made their life together for over 25 years. He served on the Niblack Levee Board, was active in the Knox County Development Council and Corn Flower Producers Assn. He is survived by his wife, Debra Rusch, children, Katie Rusch of Vincennes, Louis Rusch of Vincennes, Sean Wirth, and his wife Sara of Vincennes, Amber Wirth of Vincennes and Teresa Haggard, and her husband Adam of Vincennes. 8 Grandchildren, Tyler Haggard, Jacie Haggard, Andrew Haggard, Tanaya Wirth, Taleigha Wirth, Tristan Wirth, Jaxson Wirth and Ella Wirth. His parents, Louis E. Sr & Elizabeth �Betty� Rusch of Vincennes, his brother, Larry Rusch, and his wife Jerri of Vincennes, his sisters, Linda McHargue, and her husband Chuck of Avon, IN, Karen Franklin, and her husband John of Cadiz, KY and Janet Houchin, and her husband Doug of Monroe City, IN. He is also survived by his father in law, Robert Joyce of Vincennes, IN. A brother, Tim Rusch, preceded him in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday August 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr. David Martin, Deacon Earl Ruppel and Deacon Cletus Yochum officiating. He will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 22. 2013 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM where a rosary will be recited at 7:45 PM.
