Obituary for Marcella B. Mouzin Dreiman
Marcella B. “Mouzin” Dreiman, 92, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 with her family at her bedside. Marcella was born September 13, 1924 in Knox County the daughter of Julius Sr and Elizabeth Carie Mouzin. She was a graduate of Purcell Grade School and Decker High School. She married Bernard D. “Bernie” Dreiman and they made their life together for 69 years until his death on October 1, 2013. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She retired from Royal Gift Center and was a devoted Wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her sons Bernard B. Dreiman and his wife, Linda of Marion, Indiana, Randall K. Dreiman, and his wife, Ella of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mark J. Dreiman of Vincennes. Grandchildren, Douglas Dreiman, Michele Clapp (Brian), Eric Dreiman (Michelle), Brandon Dreiman (Beth), Jennifer Hollander (Brad), Cory Dreiman, Kristen Beavers (Kenneth), Tyler Economan (Shannon), and 12 great-grandchildren. Her brother, Paul Mouzin, and his wife Amelia of Vincennes and a sister, Doris Jane Nowaskie, and her husband John of Vincennes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Dreiman, her parents, her brother, Julius Mouzin Jr and her sister in law Norma and her sister, Bette Ann Jones
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday February 27, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church, at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Sunday February 26. 2017 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home where a parish vigil service will be held 6:45 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Good Samaritan Hospice, St. John Catholic Parish, or the donor’s charity of choice.
