Obituary for Marian R. “B” Kaiser
Marian R. “B“ Kaiser, 86, of Vincennes passed away on Friday at 3:17 PM at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Marian was born November 28, 1931 in Vincennes the daughter of Maurice A. and Ruth E. Miller Sievers. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and she worked for several years retiring from the Vincennes Police Department as records clerk. She married Robert M. Kaiser on August 25, 1953 and they made their lives together for nearly 59 years until his death on March 6, 2012. Marian was a member of St. John Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and song leader for the parish. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Michael A. Kaiser, and his wife Donna of Bruceville, Brian D. Kaiser, and is wife Debra of Vincennes, Kay E. Lemen, and her husband Chris of Osgood, IN, Robert P. (Paul) Kaiser, and his wife Regina of Sandborn, IN, Christopher J. Kaiser and his wife Cynthia of Allenwood, Pennsylvania and Curtis D. Kaiser, and his wife Nickki of Robards, KY. 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, her brothers, Thomas Sievers, and his wife Irene of Fayetteville, NC, Sam Sievers, and his wife Anthonette of Vincennes, Alan Sievers, and his wife Judy of Vincennes, Philip Sievers of Oaktown, IN, and a sister, Judith E. Thurston of Washington, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Kaiser, a son, Keith, a daughter, Catherine, her parents, Maurice A and Ruth E. Sievers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Monday July 9, 2018 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be in her memory to the Good Samaritan Hospice.
