Obituary for Marilyn K. Scarff Marilyn K. Scarff, 72, Ragsdale, passed away Wednesday night at 10:15 pm at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born August 12, 1939 in Ragsdale the daughter of E. Henry & Vivian Farmer DalleAve. She was a graduate of Bruceville High School, formerly worked at Tresslars in Bicknell; various other jobs and ended her career working for Qwest Telecommunications. She married John E. Scarff on Dec 29, 1961 and they made their life together for 50 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed going to the Bicknell library and traveling. She was raised in the Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband, John E. Scarff, their children, Susan Pattee, and her husband, John of Cummings, Iowa, Ronald Scarff, and his wife Merit of Johnstown, Iowa and Christopher Scarff of Bicknell, IN. Her grandchildren, Derick Scarff, Devin Scarff, Erin Scarff, Maddie Pattee, Jordon Pattee and Jesse Pattee. A brother, Henry DalleAve of Ragsdale, IN and a sister Joyce Roderick, and her husband John of Ragsdale, IN also survive. Her parents and a sister, Joan Flury, preceded her in death. At her request, private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel, Bicknell, IN.
