Obituary for Mark Moffett
Mark Moffett (69) from Newburgh Indiana, resident of Bicknell Indiana, former resident of Crawfordville Florida, unexpectedly passed away on March 30, 2024. He was born on October 26, 1954 the son of Millard Moffett Jr "Junior" and Ruth (Eble) Moffett. Mark graduated from John H. Castle High School. Mark married “Jeannie” Kidwell on February 4, 2000. They resided in Florida until February 2023 when they relocated to Indiana. Jeannie was the love of his life. Mark was the type of person who could do anything he set his mind to. He was artistic and had a great sense of humor. His hobbies included hanging out with his dogs, hunting and fishing, activities he did in his spare time. Mark had many career changes throughout his life and was not afraid of hard physical labor. He worked many years in construction, driving semi, and operating heavy equipment.
One summer evening in 2022, at a tent revival in Tennessee, Mark repented of his sins, chose Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in the only saving name of Jesus.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Moffett, son Michael Moffett (Michelle), son Isaac Moffett (Tracy), son Joshua Cornelius, daughter Nathalie Cassady-Pierce (Brian), daughter Philadelphia Black (Tyson), son Jonathon Cornelius, a Sister, Marylyn Robinson Shull (Chuck), a Brother, Tedd Moffett (Destiny)
23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many extended Moffett and Eble family members.
Mark requested cremation without services.
