Obituary for Mary Kay Linn Mary Kay Linn, 93, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday January 1, 2015 at 8:50 AM at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born February 12, 1921 in Lawrenceville the daughter of Levitt and Bessie Dennison Gray. She was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and on August 21, 1941 she married Louis E. Linn, and they made their life together until his death on March 8, 1998. She worked as a legal secretary for Hart Bell Attorneys as a private secretary to Don Bell. She was an active member of the Old Cathedral, the altar society, American Legion Auxiliary, she served as treasurer of the Altar Society for many years. She was awarded the Brute Society Award for her devotion to her faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, an avid basketball fan for Indiana University and the Indiana Pacers . She is survived by her children, David Linn, and his wife Carmen of Grosse Pointe Park, MI, Stephen Linn, and his wife Mary Ellen of Terre Haute, IN, Sandy Holscher, and her husband Henry of Vincennes, James �Jim� Linn, and his wife Carlotta of Vincennes, Lou Anne Ditsler, and her husband Steve of Vincennes, Edmund �Ed� Linn RPH, and his wife Christy of Atlanta, IN, Mary Beth Salyers, and her husband Paul of Riverside, CA. Her grandchildren, Kristen Bergmann, Laura Ranji, David Linn, Amy Klein, John Linn, Paul Linn, Kenny Linn, Jennifer Holscher, David Holscher, Rebecca Wulf, Chris Linn, Sara Gladish, PHARMD, Aaron Cardinal, Cady Linn M.D., Molly Flurry, Attorney at Law and William Wulf. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and a sister Joanne Haines of Lawrenceville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Louis E. Linn, a great grandchild, Kaylee Gladish, her parents, three brothers and a sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday January 6. 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Old Cathedral Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Monday January 5, 2015 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Old Cathedral Stained Glass Restoration Fund.
