Obituary for Mary Margaret Dollahan
Obituary for Mary Margaret (Bouchie) Dollahan Mary Margaret (Bouchie) Dollahan, 90, of Vincennes, went to be with the Lord at 11:22pm on March 11 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mary was born January 19, 1925 in Knox County to Ulysses & Anna (Cardinal) Bouchie. Mary Margaret graduated from St. Rose Academy in 1942. Following her graduation Mary worked at Montgomery Ward and Sears Roebuck Company. On June 11, 1950 she married Albert R. �Red� Dollahan and they made their life together for nearly 65 years. Mary worked at Sears until she retired after celebrating her 40 year anniversary with the company in 1992. Mary was a devoted member of St. John�s Catholic Church. Through Mary�s life she was an extremely active volunteer for many different organizations. Including; Bereavement Dinners, Picnics, German fest, Alter Society, & Church Choir all for servicing the Lord through St. John�s Catholic church. During which she received achievements such as the Brute & Volunteer of the Year Awards. Mary was also an active member in the Hoosier Cruisers, Back 2 Health, & the Wisdom Program. Surviving family is her husband: Albert (Red) Dollahan. Their children, Daniel & Kathy (Rich) Dollahan of Hanson Kentucky. Patricia (Dollahan) & Brian Cary of Vincennes. Brother: Paul & Dixie Bouchie. Brother-in-law: Robert Kramer. Grandchildren: Aaron Cary, Brad & Carrie Cary, Tia(Dollahan) & Johnny Dickerson, Nathan Dollahan & Alex Grimm, & Tara Dollahan. Great Grandchildren: Dalton, Jacob, Isaac, Caitlyn, & Brady Cary. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Ulysses & Anna Bouchie, sisters; Mildred Bouchie in infancy, Jeanette Hess, Annalee Frey, Louella Kramer, brother; Louis Bouchie, & a grandson, Christopher Cary. Mary has touched the hearts of many people. She will be greatly missed A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday March 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Sunday March 15, 2015 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. John�s Catholic Church, St. Jude�s Hospital or GSH Hospice.
