Michael Lewis Feagans of Bloomington, IN passed away on May 10, 2021 at the Hospice House in Bloomington.

Michael was born on January 22nd 1950. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.  Michael spent his career as an iron worker at Vincennes Steel, retiring in 2008. Mike spent much of his free time gardening…when he wasn’t fishing.  He loved to gather in his barn and feed a crowd, and never laughed harder than at his own jokes. He was skilled woodworker who delighted in creating treasured heirlooms. Â
He married Joyce Nicholson Feagans on June 16th 1973, who survives. He is also survived by 2 sisters Gail Feagans of Bloomington, IN and Rebecca Vallo of Rockwall, TX. He leaves behind one son, Jason Feagans and his wife Jamie, of Bloomington, IN; and his five grandchildren, Sydney, Simon, Kiera, Kameron and Lucah.Â
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Clementine Memering Feagans.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday May 14, 2021 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Ryan Conrad officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the donors charity of choice.
