Obituary for Michael W. Preusz
Michael W. Preusz, 65. of Vincennes, passed away Thursday October 7, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Mike was born June 22, 1956 the son of William R. and Diane L. Bratton Preusz. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, a member of the Old Cathedral/St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the FOP, former member of the Jaycees' and he last worked as a truck driver for T&M trucking.
Mike is survived by his children, Erica Preusz of Indianapolis, IN, Jacob Preusz of Vincennes, Aaron Preusz of Vincennes and Katie Preusz of Vincennes, IN. His sisters, Susan Nesbitt, and her husband Don of Vincennes, IN, and Judy Jerrell, and her husband Rick of Vincennes, IN. His faithful shepherds Molly and Maverick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 11, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Old Cathedral/St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Ernest officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Old Cathedral Restoration Fund or Vincennes Pet Port. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Preusz family during their time of loss.
