Obituary for Micheal W. Daugherty Micheal W. Daugherty, 48, of Vincennes, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday March 5, 2012 at Community Hospital in Indianapolis, IN with his family at his bedside. He was born October 30, 1963 in Vincennes the son of Leslie & Patricia Benson Daugherty. He was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and attended Vincennes University. He was a member of the Lighthouse Four Square Gospel Church and his work, church and family were his passion. His belief in the saving grace of the Lord gave him and his family great comfort during his illness. He was employed with the Knox County Highway Dept. He is survived by his wife, Sara Rose Simpson Daugherty, children, Matthew Warren Daugherty, and his wife Valerie of Tell City, IN, Adam Charles Daugherty, and his wife Karen of Vincennes, IN, Brandon Micheal Daugherty, and his wife Eden of Vincennes, IN and Caleb Lee Daugherty of Vincennes, IN. Grandchildren, Emma Daugherty, Claire Daugherty, Bryan Daugherty, Jeremiah Daugherty, Austin Daugherty and Avery Daugherty. His parents, Leslie & Patricia Daugherty of Newburgh, IN. a brother, Patrick Wade Daugherty of North Branch, Minnesota, also survive him. He was preceded in death by a brother David William Daugherty. The family will receive friends Thursday March 8, 2012 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM. Private funeral services will be conducted Friday March 9, 2012. He will be laid to rest close to his brother in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
