Obituary for Nancy Sue Rains Nancy Sue Rains, 82, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday June 26, 2016 at 2:30 pm at the Bridge Pointe Health Campus with her family at her bedside. She was born in Vincennes on August 31, 1933 the daughter of Frank & Helen Goss Beltz. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She married Robert Rains on August 19, 1965 and he preceded in death in 1992 and they owned and operated the Jiffy Cleaners. Formerly she was a secretary at Hamilton Glass and Golden Rule Insurance Supply Division. She and her husband Bob enjoyed square dancing and camping. She is survived by her step sons, Kenny Rains, and his wife Phyllis of Lafayette, IN, Phillip Rains, and his wife, Carol of Venice, FL, Larry Rains, and his wife Judy of Conway, AR, Gary Rains and his wife Jane of Greenwood, IN and Jerry Rains, and his wife Helen of Vincennes, IN. Her 13 step grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren and 5 step great-great grandchildren and her surviving sister, Zelia Deem of Vincennes. IN. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rains, a step son, Michael Rains in Vietnam, her parents, Frank and Helen Beltz and her sisters, Patricia Parish and Jean Harting. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday June 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Roger Wright officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the donors charity of choice.
