Obituary for Naomi Fleck Coppock
Obituary for Naomi (Reitmeyer) Fleck Coppock Naomi (Reitmeyer) Fleck Coppock, 83, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Wednesday morning at Colonial Assisted Living Center with her family at her bedside. She was born January 27, 1931 in Vincennes the daughter of Ernest & Lydia Schultze Reitmeyer. She worked for over 33 years at the former Security Bank & Trust Co. now Old National. She was the first female teller of the bank, something she was proud of and she retired as Customer Accounts Representative. She married Leon Fleck on August 13, 1951 and they made their life together until his death on September 30, 1980. She then married Robert Coppock on September 15, 1987 and he survives. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, K of C Auxiliary and enjoyed her family and the friends she had made throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Robert Coppock, her children, Mary Miller, and her husband Steve, Timothy Fleck, Cheryl Evans, and her husband Bryan and Paul Fleck all of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren, Marc & Michele Fleck, Andrew Fleck, David Evans, Sara & Boris Vanjicki, Brandon & Elizabeth Fleck, Lindsey Fleck and Jacob Fleck. Great grandchildren, Monica Fleck, Montegomery Fleck, Mabry Fleck, Madison Fleck, Brylie Fleck and Alexander Vanjicki. Step children, Doug & Alice Coppock, Della Tyler, Deanna Ray, Darla Coppock and Karel Hancock all of Terre Haute, IN. and 5 Step Grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Emily Catt of Huntington, IN. She was preceded in death by her first husband Leon Fleck, her parents, Ernest & Lydia Reitmeyer, her twin grandson�s, Bradley & Paul A. Fleck, a brother, Elmer Reitmeyer and a sister, Betty Beaman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday March 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday March 7, 2014 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Knox County CASA Program through the funeral home.
