Norma Lee Richardville, 90, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday January 4, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Nornie as she was called by the family, was born December 5, 1932 in Vincennes the daughter of Joseph E. and Zena Beltz Fredrick, the last of nine children. She was married to Donald L. Richardville for 42 years and he preceded her on May 6, 2004. Nornie was a member of the Old Cathedral; she retired after 39 years from Hamilton Glass/Schott Gemtron. She was an active bowler in various leagues for over 50 years.
Nornie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ellerman, and her husband Larry of Vincennes, IN, her grandson, Eric Ellerman and his companion, Kayla Moore, her great grandchildren, Dacota Ellerman and his wife Julie, Shawnee Ellerman, and her fiancé`, Jeff Donaldson and Jonathan Ellerman. Her great-great grandchildren, Kinzley Ann Ellerman, Haizley Ellerman and Memphis Ellerman.
Nornie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Richardville, a grandson, Steven "Tank" Ellerman, her brothers and sister, Dallas Fredrick, Bill Fredrick, Bob Fredrick, Maurice Fredrick, Carl Fredrick, Jack Fredrick, a brother in infancy, Oscar Fredrick and Margaret "Peggy Jean" Ruppel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday January 9, 2023 at the Old Cathedral Catholic Church with Fr. Garrett Braun officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday January 8, 2023 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Good Samaritan Hospital Women's Health Center. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Norma Lee's family during their time of loss.
