Obituary for Patricia A. Mahan Patricia A. Mahan, 83, passed away Sunday June 22, 2014 at 9:30 PM. She was born March 17, 1931 in Sanford, FL the daughter of Edward J. and Carrie M. Collins Halter. After graduation from high school she started her family with her first husband George A. Speth who preceded her in 1977. She worked as manager of Eveland Restaurant and was a former AVON representative for 14 years. She married Robert L. Mahan, and they made their life together for 31 years until his death on September 17, 2007. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She was an avid St. Louis baseball, women�s softball and Pacers� basketball fan and one of her favorite pastimes was shopping and talking to everybody on any topic. She helped in the formation of the Women�s Softball league. She is survived by her family, Vicki Neighbors, and her husband Jerry, Leon Speth, and his companion, Sharon Smith, Larry Speth and his wife Sharon, Melvin Speth and his wife Cathy and Allen Speth, and his wife Becky all of Vincennes, IN. Her grandchildren, Bryan L. Neighbors, Joseph Speth, Mikael Speth, Lori Kelso, Dustin Speth, Joshua Speth, Carrie Riker, Christopher Speth and Mallory Gilbert. 22 Great Grandchildren and a sister, Anna Lee Rogers of Worthington, IN also survive. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 2 grandchildren, Jason Neighbors and Amy Speth, her parents, 2 brothers, Robert Gray and John Gray and a sister, Billie Thomas. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Evans officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert Mahan in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
