Obituary for Patricia D. ‘Pat” Snapp

Patricia D. Snapp, 90, of Vincennes passed away Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Willow Manor Nursing Center. Patricia was born August 15, 1930 in Vincennes the daughter of Charles and Melva M. Gott Mominee. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, a member of the Old Cathedral and the Elks Auxiliary. She formerly owned and operated The Stork Stop in Vincennes. on August 21, 1948 she married Leland “Lee” Snapp and they made their life together for nearly 72 years until his death on May 14, 2020.

Pat is survived by her children, Jerald L. “Jerry” Snapp and his wife Debbie of Vincennes, Pamela Jo Snapp Black, and her husband Lawrence J. of Cranberry, PA, Bradley D. Snapp, and his wife Leanne of Owensboro, KY and a son in law, Ron Kotter of Vincennes, IN. She was blessed by her grandchildren, Scott J. Snapp, Jeffrey Snapp, Kelly Ann Tresslar, Erin Mullin, Amy Peterson, Emily Jamnik, Joseph Black, Bethany Black and Ryan Snapp. She is also survived by 13 Great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Leland “Lee” Snapp, a daughter, Lynn Snapp Kotter, her parents and four sisters, Beverly June Grannon, Mildred K. Beal, Mary C. Schroyer and Virginia Briody.

A Memorial Gathering will be announced at a later date, due to the Covid 19 pandemic. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Leland "Lee" Snapp in the Mt Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Center.
