Obituary for Patricia J. �Pat� Carroll Patricia J. Carroll, 82, of Vincennes, passed away Saturday November 1, 2014 at 1:10 pm at the Golden Living Center, Petersburg, IN. Patricia �Pat� was born April 14, 1932 in Vincennes the daughter of Clarence Stangle and Jane Morgan Stangle Edmonds. She was a 1950 graduate of Saint Rose Academy and worked at Universal Scientific and Wal-Mart in Vincennes. She was a member of the Old Cathedral and enjoyed all the activities of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Doug Carroll, and his wife Debbie of Vincennes, Joe Carroll, and his wife Penny of Bedford, IN. Her grandchildren, Ryan Carroll, Nicole Carroll, Adam Carroll, Tom Fox, David Carroll and Nikki Carroll. Her great granddaughters, Helena Fox, August Amara and Arabella Carroll. A sister, Billie Jean Edwards of Vincennes and a brother, John Stangle, and his wife Beth of Makanda, IL also survives She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Stangle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday November 5, 2014 at the Old Cathedral with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Christian Education Foundation or the Old Cathedral Stained Glass Restoration Fund.
