Obituary for Patty J. Buescher
Patty J. (Lett) Buescher, 92, of Edwardsport, IN, passed away Saturday Sept 23, 2023 at Freelandville Community Home with her family at her bedside. Patty was born June 13, 1931 in Wheatland, IN, the daughter of Charles and Leafy Staley Lett. She was a graduate of Wheatland High School and on July 29, 1956, she married Ralph V. Buescher and they made their life on the farm together for nearly 56 years. Patty held memberships in Bethel Church, Neighborly Homemakers, 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a former member to Tri Kappa. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Patty is survived by her children, John W. Buescher, of Sandborn, IN and Charles R. Buescher, of Edwardsport, IN. Her grandchildren, Abby Nieb, and her husband Shawn, Eliza Jost, and her husband Brent, Christi Price and Jordan Buescher, and his wife Cassidy, She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, a brother Charles "Bill" Lett of Bicknell, IN and a sister, Nancy Williams of Lafayette, IN.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph V. Buescher, a granddaughter, Meaghan Meeks, her parents, Charles and Leafy Lett, a sister, Dorothy J. Lett, a daughter in law, Tina Buescher, a sister in law, Nancy Lett and a brother in law, Neil Williams.
Funeral Services will be celebrated Wednesday September 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Church in Freelandville, IN with Pastor Mike DeCoursey officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 8:00AM until the time of services at the Bethel Church. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Bethel Church Memorial Fund or the North Knox Back Pack Blessings Program. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Homes are honored to assist the Buescher family during their time of loss.
