Obituary for Paula L. “Heuby” Wilson
Paula L. “Heuby” Wilson, 72, formerly of Vincennes, IN passed away at I.U. Bloomington Hospital Friday September 25, 2020 with her family at her bedside. Paula was born August 26, 1948 in Ft. Worth, TX the daughter of William Heuby and Mary Catherine Blackburn Frederick. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and retired from Perdue Farms as a Supply Supervisor/Line Foreman. She was a devout Christian who lived her faith daily. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She gave of herself to anyone she met.
She is survived by her children, Eric Wilson (Lynne) of Bloomington, IN, and Christina Wilson (Erin) of Nashville, TN, and 9 children she loved as grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sister, Fred Heuby (Holly) of Denver, CO, Terry Frederick (Brenda) of Ellettsville, IN, Gary Frederick of Martinsville, IN and a sister, Pam Crowe of Bloomington, IN.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Heuby, her mother and step father, Mary Catherine and Robert Frederick and a brother, Robert “Bobbie” Frederick.
A gathering to celebrate will be held Wednesday September 30, 2020 at Mays Chapel Cemetery, in Lawrence County old route 50 at 2:00 PM EDT. The family will greet friends at the cemetery an hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in the Mays Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the donor’s charity of choice.
