Obituary for Richard L Morgan
Obituary for Richard L. Morgan Richard L. Morgan, 81, of Vincennes, passed away October 27, 2011 at 5:44 pm Thursday at St. Mary�s Hospital in Evansville with his wife at his bedside. He was born January 8, 1930 in Petersburg, IN the son of Raymond L. & Ida Emmons Morgan. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and was a sales representative for Bowman Products for over 36 years. He served his country in the 3rd Armored Division in the U.S. Army and he was married to Phyllis E. Bouvy on Jan 21, 1950 and they made their life together for 61 years. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church, the Do Nothin Club, lifetime member of the Harmony Society, American Legion, the 40 et 8 and formerly was a member of the AERO Club. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis E. Morgan, their son, Bill Morgan, and his wife June of Odon, IN. grandsons, Edward G. Morgan and Matthew L. Morgan. Great grandchildren, Elaina Morgan and Josiah Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal aunt and uncle who raised him, Anna Mae & Earl Childress and a brother, William �Bill� Morgan. A Funeral Service will be conducted Sunday October 30, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Tim Tesmer officiating. He will be entombed in the Tower I mausoleum privately. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Sunday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church or the Riley Hospital for Children through the funeral home.
