Robert McComas Day II, 75, of Elizabethtown, KY , died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Norton Healthcare in Louisville.
He was a native of Vincennes, Indiana. . He served in the U.S. Army and was an auto technician at Montgomery Imports in Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlyn Day; his son Bobby and his parents, Robert McComas Day and Helen Schultheis Day.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bennett Day of Campbellsville; three children, Lawrence, Mary Ann and Tammie. He is survived by brothers Dan, Chris and Richard; sisters, Cindy and Sally; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His Siblings in heaven are his brothers Jim, Ralph, Frances and a sister Mary Beth.
A memorial celebrating his life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the donor’s charity of choice.
