Obituary for Robert W. Pfoff Robert W. �Bob� Pfoff, 90, of Vincennes passed away Thursday September 22, 2016 at 10:25 PM at the Lodge of the Wabash. He was born October 2, 1925 in Vincennes the son of Lawrence F. and Anna Louise Bobe Pfoff. He was a 1944 graduate of Lincoln High School and served his country during WW II in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Renville as a Navy Medic and the APA 227 Troop Transport, He married Helen B. Moore on February 23, 1944 and they made their life together for 69 years until her death on March 29, 2013. He was a member of the Community United Methodist, Lawrenceville VFW, American Legion and was active in various Veteran activities. He enjoyed riding his Goldwing Motor Cycle and was a member of the Goldwing Riders. He retired from Prestolite after over 30 years of service He is survived by his children, Daniel Pfoff, and his wife Donna of Vincennes, IN, Brad Pfoff of Thonotosassa, FL his grandchildren, Matt Hand, Mark Hand, Jennifer Hart, Jonathan Hart II, Lindsey Pfoff, Kasey Fuqua, Danielle Herr and Kelly Kibby. 9 Great grandchildren. His sister, Frances F. Schpkowaski of Springfield, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Pfoff, two daughters, Marilyn Fields and Patricia �Patty� Hand Hart, his parents, Lawrence F. and Anna L. Pfoff, his brother, Lawrence L. Pfoff Jr. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. with Rev. Cheryl Garbe and Rev Ray Tromley officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Military gravesite honors will be presented by the All Weather Firing Squad. The family will receive friends Monday Sept 26, 2016 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 4 to 7 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Wounded Worriers Foundation.
